How it's made

Real food, real love, real tail wags.

Dehydrated raw dog food is made by gently removing moisture from fresh, raw ingredients using warm air, preserving nutrients and enzymes while preventing bacterial growth. This process is similar to making jerky or kale chips, but specifically designed for dogs.

How Our Dog Food Is Made

  1. INGREDIENT PREPARATION:
We use fresh, raw ingredients like fish, meat, poultry, and biological appropriate vegetables are then carefully selected and prepared. According to the recipe these ingredients are then combined into specific ratios for the perfect taste your dogs can't resist.
  2. DEHYDRATION PROCESS:
The mixture is then spread on trays and placed in a dehydrator, which uses warm, air to circulate and slowly remove the moisture. Temperatures are carefully monitored and controlled to ensure that the food is not over cooked, but rather dried at a low temperature to preserve the raw nutrients. The dehydration process can take up to several hours to process before packaging.
  3. TESTING:
Once the food reaches a low moisture level, it is then tested for safety and quality control. This includes checking for pathogens and ensuring that nutrient levels meet our specifications.
  4. PACKAGING:
Finally, the dehydrated dog food is then packaged in an airtight unique moisture-proof packaging to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.

Key Benefits Of Switching To Raw Dehydrated Dog Food

  1. NUTRIENT RETENTION:
The low-temperature dehydration process preserves a higher percentage of the natural vitamins, minerals, and enzymes found in raw ingredients compared to traditional cooking methods which tends to over cook most of the nutritional value found in Kibbles.
  2. REDUCED PATHOGENS:
The dehydration process removes the water needed for bacterial growth, making Our dog food safer than raw, frozen diets.
  3. CONVENIENCE:
Dehydrated raw dog food is lightweight and shelf-stable, making it easy to store at room temperatures and transport, unlike frozen raw foods which need to be stored at low temperatures.
  4. HEALTH & DIGESTIBILITY:
Dehydrated raw food is generally more easily digested by dogs than highly processed kibble which are usually compacted with meat meals, meat by products, artificial fillers and preservatives.
